1&1 Virtual Server Statuses

At any point of time, any 1&1 Virtual Server is characterised by a status or state. There are four stable statuses and a number of transitional statuses that a 1&1 Virtual Server may have.

A 1&1 Virtual Server in a stable states is likely to continue in this state until its administrator performs a task that would change its status.
A 1&1 Virtual Server in a transitional states is passing from one stable state to another. During a transition stage, no operation can be performed on the server until the transition is finished.
