Add a New 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server Linux Instance

Learn how to create a new 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instance through the Control Panel.

Starting in March 2012, 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server packages gained the ability to run up to 5 Dynamic Cloud Server instances (also referred to as virtual machines). Use the process below to add an additional 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instance to your package.

Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.

Click on the Server Administration panel title from the 1&1 Control Panel Start page.

Click on New above the list of 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instances. Overview of instances

Enter the VM Name which is name used to differentiate one 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instance from another. Use the sliders to set the Configuration for the new instance. Choose an Operating System from the list.

When you are finished, click Next. Server settings

Here you will see an overview of your configuration. Click OK to continue.Hardware Configuration

You will be notified via E-mail when the 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server is initialised. Click on Go To Overview to return.

The new 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instance has been added to the overview page. The IP address will be assigned when the instance is finished initialising. New instance added
