Add a Blog to a 1&1 MyWebsite

Learn how to add a blog to your 1&1 MyWebsite package and begin posting your blog entries.

To include a blog into your website, please follow the steps below.

Select the page on which you want the blog to appear. 1&1 MyWebsite editor > page selection

Click Insert Elements from the main menu on the right-hand side of the editor. Main menu > Insert Elements

Select Contact & Communication, then click and hold the Blog icon. Insert Elements > Contact & Communication > Blog

Drag the icon to the area of the page that you want the blog to appear. Release the mouse button when you have positioned the blog element in the correct location. Blog insertion into the selected 1&1 MyWebsite page

The blog element will appear on the page and you will be prompted to configure your blog and create your first blog post.
In the appropriate fields, enter a name for your blog (A), a name for this particular blog post (B), as well as the content for the blog post. (C)

Click Browse... (D) to upload an image to the blog post from your computer.

Use the checkboxes (E) to determine if visitors to the website can add comments to your blog post(s) and whether or not you want to review those comments before they are displayed onto the site. When finished, click Save. Blog settings
