Add or Remove a 1&1 MyWebsite Project

Learn how to add or remove a MyWebsite project directly from the 1&1 Control Panel.

There may be a time where the 1&1 MyWebsite you have initially created is no longer suitable for your business needs or you need to create a brand new page. This article will demonstrate how you can remove your current project and create a new one directly from the 1&1 Control Panel.

Remove a 1&1 MyWebsiteProject
Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.
Step 2
From the MyWebsite panel, click on 1&1 MyWebsite.

Click the Delete button to remove the current project. Edit MyWebsite menu

Step 4
Please note:
This is an irreversible process. Your website's data will no longer be retrievable once you complete the removal process. 1&1 does not hold a back up of your website. Make sure you have done so on your own accord before proceeding.
You will be presented with an alert message informing you that by clicking Delete, your website data will be removed. Click the Delete button to remove your current project. Edit MyWebsite menu

Step 5
You will receive a confirmation informing you that the process was successful. Here you have the option of creating a brand new 1&1 MyWebsite project by simply clicking Create your 1&1 MyWebsite . Edit MyWebsite menu

Add a New 1&1 MyWebsiteProject
Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.
Step 2
From the MyWebsite panel, click on 1&1 MyWebsite.

Click the Create your 1&1 MyWebsite button. Edit MyWebsite menu

Now you will be asked to set up the new project. You will be asked to connect a domain to the 1&1 MyWebsite, select a buisness sector and to review your customer details. You can find more information on editing your website using some of the help links below.
