Set Up a Microsoft® Exchange 2013 by 1&1 Account

Use the following steps to create your Microsoft® Exchange 2013 by 1&1 account in the 1&1 Control Panel.

With Microsoft® Exchange 2013 by 1&1, you can use teamwork features such as shared contacts, calendars and tasks.

Step 1
Click the Microsoft Exchange link from the Mail panel.
Click Microsoft Exchange
Click Microsoft Exchange

Step 2
Click Set Up for the Microsoft® Exchange 2013 by 1&1 account.

Select a Mailbox type, either Contract owner mailbox in order to set up your own exchange account, or Employee mailbox to set up an additional mailbox for another person.

Select a Sender e-mail account, either by creating an e-mail address if you don't already have an existing e-mail address you want to use, or Use an existing e-mail address

Step 4
With every Microsoft® Exchange 2013 by 1&1 account, 1&1 offers Microsoft Outlook 2013 for Windows or Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac free of charge. If you do not already have Microsoft Outlook, or want to upgrade the version installed on your computer, please select Yes and click Next.

Step 5
The download page offers you the links for the different versions available. Click Download and save and choose a location to save the installation file, such as your Desktop.
After the installation, click Go To Overview in order to check on the status of your Exchange account.

On the overview page, you can view the status of your Exchange account.

You can configure additional settings by logging in to XAdmin.
