Outlook Setup after Migration from 1&1 Exchange 2007 to 1&1 Exchange 2013
Follow the steps below to re-establish a connection from Microsoft Outlook to your 1&1 Exchange account after being migrated to Microsoft® Exchange 2013 by 1&1.
After your 1&1 Exchange account has been migrated to the newer platform, the next time you attempt to launch Microsoft Outlook on your computer you may be prompted by Microsoft Outlook to log in. If you are not prompted to log in, proceed to Step 3.
Click Cancel on the login window.
Download and install the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 3 (SP3).
When Outlook is opened, click OK when the following message appears.
Warning message for restart
Close Microsoft Outlook completely, then open it again.
When Outlook opens again, you will be prompted for a username and password. Please type out your full 1&1 Exchange E-mail address as well as the password you chose when setting up the Exchange account. Then click on OK button.
Login details to be entered
You will now be able to access Outlook with your Exchange account.
