Cancel a 1&1 Mail Business Account

This article explains how to cancel a 1&1 Mail Business account.

1&1 Mail Business accounts and users can be separately managed, but each user needs an account. If you cancel a 1&1 Mail Business account but have not deleted one of the users, you will receive an error message when logging in. Delete a 1&1 Mail Business User before cancelling the account no longer needed.

Follow the steps outlined below to cancel 1&1 Mail Business account.

Once logged in, click Cancellation at the top of the page.

Next, select the package that contains the 1&1 Mail Business account you wish to cancel.

Select the option to cancel Individual domains/additional items and click Next.

This next page displays all domains and additional features for the package.
Select any one of the 1&1 Mail Business items on the page.
Please note:
On this cancellation page you choose a 1&1 Mail Business account or "license" to remove from the package. In the 1&1 Control Panel, you can manage and delete any of your 1&1 Mail Business Users.

Select an option for when to cancel the account.

When finished, click Next.

Check the summary of the cancellation options on the page and when ready, click Confirm to initiate the cancellation.

After clicking the finish button, the next page should provide you with cancellation details and whether or not any additional verification is needed (usually clicking a link provided to you via e-mail). If any additional instructions are presented to you on this page, please follow them accordingly.
