Set Up a 1&1 Mail Business Account on an Android Phone

Learn how to configure the Mail app on your Android phone to connect to your 1&1 Mail Business account.

Access your e-mail, calendars, contacts and other features directly from your smartphone. The images in this article reflect Android 4.4.2.

Find and select the Email app from your home screen.

Enter your 1&1 Mail Business E-mail address and password into the two text boxes. Select Next when you are finished.

Select Exchange as the account type.

Enter s.mailxchange.1and1.co.uk in the Server text box.
Select Next when you are finished.

You can alter the default settings if you wish to. Choose if new e-mails will automatically be pushed to your phone as they arrive. Your phone will also sync your contacts, calendar and e-mail from 1&1 Mail Business to your phone unless you decide not to sync some of these features.

When you have finished altering your settings, select Next.

Enter a name for the account so that you can differentiate between the various e-mail accounts you may have set up on your phone. Select Next when you are done.

You 1&1 Mail Business account is now set up on your android phone. Select the Email app to view your e-mail, Calendar app to view your 1&1 Mail Business calendar entries, or People to view your 1&1 Mail Business contacts.
