Connect to Webspace via FTP Using Core FTP

For 1&1 WebHosting Windows and 1&1 Managed Server

Learn how to connect to your shared hosting webspace (or storage space) via SFTP, FTPS, or FTP (insecure).

To establish the connection to your webspace, please follow the steps below.

Step 1
Download Core FTP LE and install it. Core FTP LE is the free version of Core FTP.
Step 2
Launch Core FTP from your Windows Desktop or Start menu. Once the programme is open, click Sites > Site Manager.

Step 3
You can save the FTP information in Core FTP for your website so that you do not have to enter all the FTP info every time you want to connect. Click New Site.

Enter the Required FTP Information. Use the images below as reference depending on your package.

You can now connect to transfer files. To upload, simply drag and drop the files into the right side of the menu.
