Install Click & Build Applications in Standard Mode

For Linux hosting and managed dedicated server packages

Learn how to install a Click & Build application in Standard Mode.

A Standard Mode installation allows you to configure your applications without restrictions and install any additional plugins that you desire.

Please note:
We will automatically update Click & Build applications only. Any third party enhancements will not be updated through 1&1.

Additionally, it is not possible to install plugins because these require the rights to change the system data which may cause issues during scheduled updates.
Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.
Step 2
Click the 1&1 App Centre link from the Hosting section of the 1&1 Control Panel.

Hover your mouse over the desired application and click Install application.

Step 4
Enter the title of your website in the text box and click Create Website.

Step 5
Create a username and password (A), select Managed Wordpress as the installation type (B), check the box to confirm that you accept the Terms of Use (C) and click Continue (D).

Step 6
Select the domain you want to use from the drop-down menu and then click Assign Domain.

You will be redirected back to the 1&1 App Centre homepage and prompted with a confirmation message informing you that the application is ready to use.
