Enable 1&1 Online Team Storage

Learn how you as a 1&1 Online Storage user can enable 1&1 Online Team Storage.

Before enabling 1&1 Online Team Storage, you will need to first Set Up 1&1 Online Storage.

1&1 Online Team Storage is essentially a toll-free shared folder that can be accessed by all 1&1 Online Storage users to promote quick and painless file sharing between team members.

Use the following guide to enable 1&1 Online Team Storage so that your users can start sharing files with each other easily.

Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.
Step 2
Click the Manage Online Storage and Permissions link in the Mail panel.

Step 3

After you have clicked Activate team storage, the 1&1 Online Team Storage should be added to your package and all 1&1 Online Storage users will be given permission to the folder by default. You may now want to create sub-folders in the 1&1 Online Team Storage and change permissions for your 1&1 Online Storage users if you do not want some to have access to the 1&1 Online Team Storage.
