Restart Your Incoming Domain Transfer

Learn the individual steps in restarting an incoming domain transfer in the Domain Centre.

If your domain transfer is unsuccessful you will need to restart the transfer in order to get it to the intended provider.

Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.

From the Domains panel, click on Manage Domains.

In the Domain Centre, click Transfers. Domain Centre

Here you will notice that the domain transfer was unsuccessful. Click the Restart Domain Transfer button to reinitiate the transfer.
Please note:
The domain must not have a lock entry for the transfer. You can check the status of the domain in the WHOIS data at any time. It should be "Active" or "OK" so that the transfer can be completed.
