How to configure 1&1 Chat?

Step 1
Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the package in question to reach its Administration page. Package overview

Click the Mail panel's title from the 1&1 Control Panel Start page.

Step 3
Click the Miscellaneous text to view additional tools in the Miscellaneous section.

Step 4
Click the Chat link.

Step 5
Click the Set Up button to create a new chat.

Step 6
Enter a descriptive name for this Chat Channel in the text box and click the Next button.

Step 7
You must read and accept the Terms and Conditions for operating 1&1 chats. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions and then click the Next button.

Step 8
Select a chat icon of your choice by clicking it with your mouse. The code for inserting the chat icon into your web page will be shown below under Chat Room Links. There are other links provide below as well.
