URLs should not exceed 1,024 characters in length, or they will be declined by Y!SM's systems.
It is imperative that an advertiser's site is functional and that the line listing does not direct the user to a broken URL. Sites that fail to load completely, that load too slowly or that are missing key elements such as graphics or text, will be rejected for broken site. In addition, all Web sites must be functional in both Internet Explorer 5 and Netscape.
Users must be able to return to Y!SM from the landing page within one click of their backbutton. The only exception to this rule is for Web sites with Flash introductions, in which case the user must be able to return to Y!SM's listings within 2 clicks of the backbutton.
Y!SM allows the Web page to which the listing links to produce only one partial pop-up/pop-under window on entry to or exit from the landing page of the Web site.
