Delete a 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server Linux Instance

Learn how to delete a 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server Linux that is no longer needed.

1&1 Dynamic Cloud Servers ordered March 2012 or later, gained the ability to hold multiple 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instances (also referred to as virtual machines) within one package. In order to delete one of the instances, use the steps below.

Please note:
Deleting a 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server is not the same as cancelling a 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server package, which must be done through the 1&1 Contract Page.
Step 1
Log in to your 1&1 Control Panel and select the relevant package.
Step 2
Click the Server Configuration link from the 1&1 Server Administration panel.

Check the box next to the Cloud Server instance you want to delete and then click the Delete button. Check Box of Instance to be Deleted

Step 4
Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion. Click Delete

The 1&1 Dynamic Cloud Server instance may remain in the 1&1 Control Panel but billing for the instance will cease when the deletion is confirmed. Typically the instance will be removed from the 1&1 Control Panel within the hour if not removed immediately.
