Disable Domain Auto-Renewal

For non-UK domains (.com, .net, .org, etc.)

In this article you will learn how to disable the automatic renewal of your domain.

If you no longer need a certain domain in your 1&1 package, you can easily remove it via the 1&1 Contract Page. To disable a domain's auto renewal, follow the instructions presented below.

A welcome page is shown after logging in. Click Cancellation toward the top of the page.

Select the package that contains the domain in question.

Select Individual domains/additional items and then click Next to proceed.

Find the domain in question and tick the box, select Expire and As soon as possible from the drop-down menus.

An overview of the cancellation options is shown on this page. Check to make sure your domain should be set to expire as soon as possible. The domain will remain active until its expiration date but the setting will be changed as soon as possible. Click the Confirm button to submit the request.

The selected domain will expire at the end of the contract term and an E-mail will be sent to the address on file to confirm the cancellation.
